Anyways, This is my introduction and mission statement.

A smidge about me...

I am Ruby Nomi Lee. I am just your typical trans dimensional entity that visited this charming ball of rock and decided to stay for a while. I am trans. I am a woman. I am a veteran and a Secular Buddhist/Dharma Punk that lives an examined life. I am lots of stuff. You will see if you stick around.

My deadname is Casey Wyrembek. Don't ever call me that. My pronouns are She/Her/Hers. I have been here for 41 years and some change. It's been a beautiful and strange trip so far! I am a transgender disabled veteran and a burn pit survivor. I advocate for people like myself and those in need. I pull aggro for rainbow people so just let me know if you need me. I am an artist. A friend. A practitioner of mindfulness and chaotic good force of nature. :D

I originally touched down in So Cal and adopted an Earth family. My human parents, Sue and Terry, have both passed on now (see my posts about it). Thankfully, I still have family around that I love very much. I also am an auntie! :D I live PDX these days. I adore this little gem and all it's cracks, flaws, and luster. After a couple of trips to Iraq I needed greener pastures and I found them up here in the Pac NW.

I am a multi-hyphenate artist. I have a BA in Film Theory and Production with a minor in Theater from PSU. I am only the 2nd person in my family to complete 4 years of college and get a piece of paper for it. I am very proud of that, especially since I had to go to war to get the chance.

I am an actor, a screenwriter, and ultimately hope to direct my own features. I have lived a life enamored with film. If you are a filmmaker or producer looking to mentor someone I am here for it. <3 :D Lana Wachowski, I am all yours if you want me. :D <3

I write and I call myself a word slinger. I write stories, poems, lyrics, essays, run ttrpgs, etc. I love words and sharing stories and information. I have one novel completed and two more planned for the future.

I have a couple of screenplays and many more specs being popped out all the time. I will write posts about them as they happen.

I am a singer that's always looking for opportunities to creature music and have decent voice. I can play instruments too but am no virtuoso. I just like to make sounds that please me and have a lot of fun. My musical dream is to sing a song or two with Laura Jane Grace and Amanda Palmer.

I drive a red mustang GT that I named Suzie Q after my mother, who died the week I bought it. It is my most treasured possession. I have red hair, a red computer, and am just generally cuckoo for crimson. deal with it.

My dream is to be able to hand a copy of my work to my idols. My bucket list includes sitting down with the likes of Neil Gaiman to chat over a cuppa. I'd also adore making lunch for <3 Nancy Collins <3 You are my spirit guide and I love you. <3

What I intend for this site...

Hopefully this site will serve as a portal to my world and a way to promote my creative endeavors. I hope it will allow me to connect with, and be of service to others. I love connecting. I also hope to promote artists that I admire. You will see posts where I lavish praise on them reguarly.

I also intend to use this platform to explore and discuss ideas, society, the self, etc. If I can offer things that will make the world a better place you can be damned sure that I will. <3

What you can count on...

This blog will be honest. sincere. radical. accessible and intersectional. It will also be kink and sex positive. I will do my very best to keep it that way. If a mistake is made or there is something that bothers you on here, hit me up, let's work it out. I am all about learning, growing, and changing in positive ways.
